Vicky recently attended a handstand workshop and her teacher’s dedication to his craft is one of the perfect examples as to why there’s no such thing as an overnight success. Progress is made in tiny beetle steps and it can get discouraging after the novelty of your big project wears off, but you have to keep at it if you want to see long-term success.

Key Takeaways:

[0:45] Vicky and Joe are freezing their bits off!

[3:15] Vicky went to a handstand workshop and sort of broke herself. She is sore all over.

[3:45] Did you know that chickens are not built for snow?

[6:40] Today, we’ll be talking about tiny beetle steps! Progress is made in tiny steps.

[9:40] We get really excited when it’s new, but then we get distracted when the shininess begins to wear off.

[13:45] With any big project, it’s really exciting to start, but keeping up the work is the real challenge.

[15:15] Overnight successes are very, very rare.

[16:00] Vicky shares an example about business and ‘sticking with it’ from the handstand workshop she took recently.

[20:30] At the end of the day, it’s all about tiny progress to help you get to where you want to go.

[21:15] Vicky writes an email every single day. It pays off!

[21:55] What small things can you do everyday that will get you closer to your goal?
