Vicky asks an important question in today's discussion with Joe. What are you doing currently to generate more clients and customers for your business? How about, who are your dream clients? Vicky recommends writing down the top 100 people/customers/companies you'd like to do business with and then develop a nine step direct mailing campaign. In this episode, Vicky explains why you should do this and shares creative examples on how you can do it.

Key Takeaways:

[2:15] What are you doing to find clients and customers?

[3:15] Do you have a 'dream' client?

[5:45] It's difficult to change, change is hard.

[5:55] Take a second to see how you behave and if it consistently bugs you, do something about it.

[8:00] The only reason why Vicky signed up to run a half marathon is because she really liked the medal they give you.

[10:15] Consider sending a direct mail to your dream client.

[12:15] Vicky talks about a carpet cleaner and what he was doing right.

[12:45] Make a list of the top 100 companies you'd like to work with and then make a direct mail plan.

[13:25] Vicky and her client sent handcuffs in the mail and it generated around half a million quid worth of business in the first two weeks.

[14:50] Put together a nine step mailing campaign.

[16:15] This does require an investment upfront. It's not free.
